We started Wild Goose Tours in the early 1990's because at that time, all there was being offered, for the independent traveler, was the coach tour or the go-it-alone and miss the main event.... so we started with just half a dozen people on each trip and traveled with the mood..... we could stop, go, detour, walk, take a hike or anything, just as long as we made it to the next booked hotel! These tours became more popular that now we offer many itineraries, all based on the local knowledge of our guides. We now offer guided and for those who do not want to risk a tour with other people at all...the self guided..tours...we have put all we can into a guide book for each tour...and you go self guided, in your own car rental or motorhome!

So now we are ready to hit the famous sites of Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise, and all the less known sites in the National Parks (Waterton, Robson, Glacier)....and once we get there we will spend some time with the options for activities (wildlife watching and photography, walking, hiking, even swimming.....golf, horseriding, whitewater rafting, boat tours) ..... we may even get to go to a Hockey game! When we move from the Rockies, we then travel the drier areas and the wineries, vineyards and fruit areas of the Okanagan...and then to the coast for the whale watching, fishing and the tremendous rainforests of the Pacific Rim on Vancouver Island...(Tofino, Campbell River and Victoria).....all in all we can offer the tour which cannot be duplicated......ever!
